I never got a chance to re-post this late post. But ever since the Miami Heat got back and won their 2nd consecutive NBA championship, many teams around the team changed their coaches. Dwight Howard left LA and signed with the Houston Rockets, the LA Clippers redeemed a new coach with a better roster and the LA Lakers decided to go on a soft roster with no new coaching changes. Maybe it would have been better if the Clippers had Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in the trade for some of their players, then the team would have been a championship contender for next season. Instead Garnett and Pierce were traded to the Brooklyn Nets along with Jason Terry to become a newer stronger team for the Nets.
Also with the naming change to the New Orleans Pelicans, the Charlotte Bobcats wanted to rename Charlotte Hornets back to where it was years ago.
