It's 2014. What more to expect? The 2014 FIFA World Cup in Rio, Brazil is on! I hope Brazil wins it all depending on their odds. Because this is for the men, the women will get to play in the 2015 FIFA World Cup. I am also looking forward to this years 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup as well.
This is the question that will perplex me for months and years to come because it's hard to tell if Edward Snowden has done enough damage to the US. So far mixed criticism on Snowden is draining all over America. Most of the stuff are mostly consumer and political related because as of now after what I watched last night on NBC's News exclusive interview with Snowden has been particularly perplexing. But one thing that is true is that privacy no longer exists on the phone, Internet and any mobile device you control from.
As for me, I cannot determine this sort of answer for the topic.
A recent poll survey from E-Poll Market Research revealed that Donald Sterling is the most hated person in America over Madoff and Bieber. But I thought there might be someone worse than Sterling. I didn't like the poll overall however.
And also get this, as of today, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer won a bid to buy the LA Clippers team for about $2 billion USD, an outrageous price tag.... $300 million less than the total purchase of the LA Dodgers. Maybe it's about time Bill Gates and Microsoft to join in the fun.....
Watch Dogs and Call of Duty: Ghost are some of the first 64-bit games to be exclusively played on 64-bit versions of Windows 7 and 8 OS. Most players aren't satisfied however, that the graphics are sub-par for a 64-bit game, even more sub-par than the games using Frostbite 3 Engine and Unreal Engine 4. Yikes.... Also the gameplay hasn't been more modernized for 64-bit gaming yet unless new innovations are implemented and so far it's not there yet. The only part different in a 64-bit OS is the usage of RAM, not the graphics. The exception of 64-bit gaming on the graphics would be the ones running on 48/64-bit mode Deep Color on Nvidia Quadro and AMD FireGL cards.
Thing is today, Frostbite 3 and Unreal Engine 4 still support 32-bit systems but at least not on supporting DirectX 9.0c involving Windows XP. It's too early to enjoy exclusive 64-bit gaming since the graphics haven't caught up to "Deep Color" mode yet. Right now video card makers are attempting to make video cards as energy efficient as possible, not to increase graphic capability to "deep color" mode.
It's sad that the Clippers are out of the NBA Playoffs after one stint audio recording ruined the team's performance, motivation and reputation for good.
I may be a Clippers fan and still loving Lob City (famous nickname for those lob passes by their top 3 best players in the team), but I sure hope one day someone will claim new ownership of the team after what happened the last several weeks which was full of a mix of racial discrimination and scrutiny. I wish Magic Johnson could bring back Showtime to Lob City if he and his investors bought the team since they already owned the LA Dodgers and the LA Sparks. The owner, Donald Sterling (as of today) has finally given up control of the team and has given it to Shelly Sterling to overlook the team. Regardless of what happens by the first week of June, the team will eventually be put up for sale.
But I do know of one thing everyone knows, racial discrimination is not tolerated on all sports leagues around the world.
An earthquake shook Southern CA on St. Patrick's Day and then one week later another earthquake occurred and then Chile took the hardest hit yet. Chances of an earthquake this week = slim. Chances of an earthquake this Easter = hard to tell. There's a 5% chance a stronger earthquake will happen and so far CA itself is too slow on bringing in a new emergency response alert(s) from the fault lines. Also the events in the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming seem to be occurring on animals running away from the danger as if a gigantic volcano is erupting. Doomsday never happened on 12/21/2012, but sometime in the future it might happen. Just ask the believers.
I finally revamped the site by eliminating two pages (seemingly they are no use to me for this site anymore). My experience in handling my blog site has very much been limited by other activities. Sure Weebly has changed with new designs and options and I don't find working around them easily. March Madness has ended and I ran out of April Fools jokes.
C&C mod/game activity has been pretty much inactive for the last several months and now GameSpy is pulling the plug to hundreds of MP games depending on it. Too bad GameSpy is now owned by Glu rather than IGN, just to ease up the pressure of money savings. As for KW Reloaded, I am still attempting to come back finishing it up.
Sad to say after watching two weeks of the Winter Olympics, Russia showed their dominance in the medals standing while US flunked on speed skating and other sports. Maybe one of the most expensive Olympic Games ever might have paid off for Russia after all. The showings were a great run but I did not enjoy the ceremonies very much.
The only great USA run I have seen is in the Ice Dancing Skate competition. That great pair I saw was probably one of the best I ever seen and it was nearly flawless. It was the best skating moment I ever witnessed in a lifetime.
Well at least there's the Paralympics to look forward to.
There are so many C&C mods, but there is one C&C mod that has the most potential: Tiberium Essence, a half total-conversion mod for C&C3. Why? With over 1.6 million views for its Moddb page, the mod itself has undergone adding many new materials to the mod itself, and the mod isn't even halfway done. When many Tiberian Sun remakes have failed and gone, Tiberium Essence is the quality to success. Also since C&C3 has less bugs, this is the mod for the future.
My RA3 Reloaded mod wasn't that popular and great but at least it did contain some of the great changes that I wanted in that mod. Now the most popular RA3 mod, RA3 Paradox, has come to a sad end, according to their lead developer. With restrictions on RA3 modding, how could anyone could mod RA3 to its further extent? As for "The Red Alert", that went well but future questions arise for future RA3 mods like Generals Evolution (aka unofficial Generals 2) and Tiberium (remake of C&C4).
